A Life of Faith or a Life of Fear? – Steve & Lisa Bailey

A Life of Faith or a Life of Fear?

A few days ago on Facebook, I asked a question... Which is easier? A life of faith or a life of fear? The responses were pretty much what I expected... Faith trumps Fear.... Faith gets me through Fear... Yet, every day, we share our network marketing business with people and are given excuse after excuse... I have to wonder, how many of those excuses are based on fear.

Take a reflective look at yourself for a moment. Do you enjoy waking up to an alarm clock, going to a job you don't like (and some people do -- I understand that), working with people you don't like (and some people do), coming home, eating, watching television, going to sleep and repeating the whole cycle again tomorrow? Do this 5 out of 7 days of the week for a paycheck that barely keeps the lights on, food on the table and maybe a car in the garage? Is that REALLY all that life has to offer you?

Now imagine for a minute, you can make an investment of less than $1,000 (in most cases) and work 3-5 hours a day for 2-3 years and, at the end of that time, you never have to listen to an alarm clock again. You never have to go to a job you don't like or work with people you don't like. Imagine you decide you want to take a trip to Spain next week and you just go. Imagine paying cash for a brand new car or paying for your children's college without having to put them in debt. Imagine making a sizable donation to your church which let's them replace their roof or repave the driveway at the church. Imagine being able to pay off the mortgage on your parents home or helping a friend out financially without worrying about whether or not you'll ever get paid back.

Faith or Fear?

So let me ask you now. Would you be willing to invest the money and time to achieve this kind of lifestyle? If your answer is anything but an emphatic yes, you are probably living a life of fear. A fear that you would invest the money and it wouldn't happen. A fear of being rejected. A fear of running out of people to talk to. What happened to those people who claim to live a life of faith? Faith means you let go of the fear and embrace the possibility. Faith means you do something that is uncomfortable because you know that a little discomfort now is worth a life of abundance later. Faith means you believe in the people who are willing to give up everything to help you get there.

So, as we sit on the eve of 2016, I ask you what will you do to make 2016 different than every year before it? I asked someone 4 years ago if they wanted to join me in my network marketing company and they said "I don't have the money." I asked that same person just a few months ago if they were ready to take a look yet and they still didn't have the money. How does it feel to be 30+ years old and over the period of 4 years, you don't have $400 of spare money to invest in your future? If you don't change, nothing will change. Make 2016 the year that you decide to make a difference.

Have a great new year!
