Recommended Books

These are some of the Recommended Books that are the cornerstone of our library.  If you are going to be a successful entrepreneur you have to understand that part of the job is personal development.  If you aren’t willing to grow personally, you aren’t going to attract the right people into your business.  Learning from the masters who have traveled the path before you is critical to long term success.

These are some of the books we always recommend to new entrepreneurs to help them get started right.  If you are looking for a good book that will help you grow personally as well as grow professionally, these are must reads.

Recommended Books - Beach MoneyBeach Money – Jordan Adler

In addition to being a close personal friend of mine, this book is an essential read for people who are just getting started in network marketing or are considering starting a network marketing career.  Jordan started working for a small airline and went through 11 different network marketing companies before making a single penny.  Today, Jordan travels the world and makes more in a month than most make in a year.  Jordan explains the power of residual income and why network marketing is the best solution available today to help generate it.

Recommended Books - The Four Year CareerThe Four Year Career – Richard Brooke

Much like Jordan, Richard started out in a blue collar job in the poultry industry.  Today, Richard is a highly sought after speaker and owns his own network marketing company.  Richard explains, in this book, how to compress a 40 year career into 4 years and retire while you’re still young enough to enjoy it.

Recommended Books - Go ProGo Pro – Eric Worre

Eric Worre is one of the giants of the network marketing profession.  Eric runs a successful website where he educates network marketers on a daily basis.  Eric’s first book, Go Pro, teaches you, step by step, everything you need to do to be successful in network marketing.  This book is for people who are already involved in the business and want to know how to take their business to the next level.  I’ve met Eric personally and he’s one of the greatest guys you’ll ever meet and he is passionate about this profession and helping people be successful.

Recommended Books - Hanging Out For A LivingHanging Out For A Living – Mark Herdering

When Lisa and I were struggling with growing our network marketing business, this book, and Mark Herdering, were introduced to us and it completely transformed how we worked.  We changed our focus from “getting people to sign up” to just hanging out with people and learning how you can be successful by helping them be successful.  This teaches some key skills that you can use to help other businesses grow and have them begging to help you do the same.  The more value you add to people’s lives, the more they want to help you.

MLM Blueprint – Kody BatemanRecommended Books - MLM Blueprint

One of the things we learned about ourselves after reading this book is that we have had some past experiences in our lives that were preventing us from having the success we wanted.  We knew we wanted it, we knew what we needed to do to achieve it.  However, because we had some unconscious feelings about network marketing, we were inhibiting our own success.  This book is phenomenal to help you get your head in the right place to have the success you want.  If you think you’re doing everything right (or if you’re curious about why you’re not having the success you think you should) you should definitely read this book.

Promptings – Kody BatemanRecommended Books - Promptings

Promptings is a book that was written because of a family tragedy.  Before the author, Kody Bateman, left home to start his life, he had a thought, a “prompting,” to give his brother a hug.  Kody ignored that prompting and left and then, three months later, received a call that his brother had been killed in a work related accident.  He would never have the opportunity to hug his brother again because he ignored that prompting.  This book is about encouraging you to act on your promptings when you have them.  This book teaches about the “infinite flow of positive energy” and what you put out into the universe is what comes back to you.  If you focus on positive things, you will attract positive things.  If you focus on negative things, you attract negative things.  Promptings encourages people.  Promptings uplifts people.  This book has little to do with growing a business but has a lot to do with growing into the person you were put on this Earth to be.
